Autism Support Assistant – Whitley Bay (Full-Time)

A welcoming SEND provision in Whitley Bay is looking for an Autism Support Assistant to support pupils with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) and additional communication needs.

The school is seeking someone patient, nurturing and resilient who can help pupils build confidence, develop social skills and access learning in a way that works for them.

Location: Whitley Bay
Pay: £92.63 - £102 per day
Contract: Full-time, Long-Term

Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
Encouraging communication and interaction
Helping pupils engage with classroom activities
Supporting emotional regulation and wellbeing
Promoting independence and confidence
Working alongside teachers and SEND professionals

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
