The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Planner to join a leading civil engineering and infrastructure contractor delivering a major highways and infrastructure scheme in the Wokingham area.
This role is ideal for a planning professional who enjoys working closely with operational teams, has strong Primavera P6 experience, and thrives in a fast-paced project environment. You'll play a key role in developing, managing and monitoring project programmes to ensure successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare, develop and maintain project programmes using Primavera P6
Monitor site progress and update programmes to reflect current project performance
Identify critical activities, risks, opportunities and programme constraints
Support programme reviews, reporting and progress updates
Collaborate with construction, commercial and engineering teams to ensure programmes remain aligned with project delivery requirements
Assist in analysing programme performance and recommend corrective actions where required
Requirements
To be considered, you should have:
Experience in a Planner or Senior Planner position within civil engineering, infrastructure or major construction projects
Strong working knowledge of Primavera P6
Good understanding of construction methodologies, sequencing and site operations
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
A collaborative and proactive approach to project planning
Eligibility to obtain Security Clearance
Desirable
Highways project experience
Understanding of NEC contracts
Experience working on large-scale infrastructure projects
