We're recruiting an SEN Learning Partner to support primary-aged children with social, emotional and mental health needs.
For some pupils, having a trusted and consistent adult can make the difference between disengaging from school and having a successful day. You'll provide that consistency while helping children develop strategies for managing emotions, relationships and classroom expectations.
We're looking for someone who can:
- Build strong but appropriate relationships
- Remain calm during challenging situations
- Use positive reinforcement and de-escalation
- Recognise triggers and changes in behaviour
- Encourage resilience and independence
- Work collaboratively with teaching and SEND staff
Experience in SEMH, SEND, pastoral support, mentoring, youth work or behaviour support would be particularly relevant.
If you're patient, resilient and motivated by making a genuine difference, we'd love to hear from you.
All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role. Please see the FAQs on the Protocol Education website for further details.
All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
